2.1. Login and Registration
To access the application, just go to the url https://www.babelway.net/.
Registration
If you are not yet a registered user, enter your email in the "Sign up", and choose a username and a password. A new environment will be created for you, and you will be able to test the application for FREE for 30 days.
Note: In the Babelway system, usernames are case-sensitive. For instance, "User01" is considered different from "user01."
Logging In
If you are already a registered user, use our regular login page, and provide your username: https://www.babelway.net/SelfService3/:
You will be:
- Prompted for a password if your account uses password authentication (if you have lost your password, check reset password).
- Redirected to your SSO provider if you've set up a SAML integration (contact support@babelway.com if you want to set up a SAML integration).
- for a multi-factor authentication if your account has multi-factor authentication set up (contact support@babelway.com if you want to set up multi-factor authentication).
Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a more secure setup than the regular username/password flow. It requires the user to provide a code generated through another application on top of the password.
If you are joining an account that requires multi-factor authentication, you will need to use a multi-factor authentication tool. Common tools are Google authenticator or Microsoft authenticator.
When you log in for the first time, you will get the following screen:
You can use the verification key to configure MFA in a desktop application. The QR code is practical if you are setting up your authentication using your phone. Regardless of the application you use, once you have input the verification key, you should be able to generate a 6-digit code that will let you into the application:
If you longer have the original verification key, and have lost your application, then you will need us to reset your multi-factor authentication. Reach out to support in that case: support@babelway.com.
Reset Password
If you don't remember your username or your password, you can follow the 'Forgot your password?' link. This will lead you to the 'Reset Password' page.
Start by entering the email address you used to register your account in Babelway. The system will then send you an email containing a link to a secure page allowing you to reset your password.
Password Reset Page
Note: If you have registered several users with the same email address, the system will ask you to choose which one you want to change.
Expired Password
If your password expired, you will automatically be redirected to the 'Renew expired password' page. You will not be able to access Babelway until your password is renewed.
