3.2. Polling Gateway Status
Babelway gateways are categorized into two types: servers and clients. Client gateways actively poll the external environment at predefined intervals to retrieve messages, rather than passively waiting for messages to arrive.
Polling can occasionally fail due to incorrect configurations or temporary issues, such as network errors.
The Polling Gateway Status page provides a comprehensive overview of all your gateway pollers and their current statuses. It shows whether the most recent polling action was successful. If you're only interested in viewing the gateways with failed polling attempts, you can filter by the "Last Poll Status" column.
When the user clicks on a gateway in the table the a section is shown with some relevant information about the last poll, and the history of the last 10 down times windows with relative error message. If you need more than the last 10 down times windows, you can export a csv with the complete history by clicking on the "export" button.
The poll now button allows instead to immediately schedule a poll for a given gateway.
