5.1. Introduction
The Notification Center allows you to configure for which type of events you want to be notified.
In any case, anything that you will do in this section will have no impact on the processing of your messages. Notifications are about proactively informing you on the state of your Babelway environment even when you are not logged in. For example, this can concern sudden upticks in traffic, upcoming certificate expirations, or channels that are failing to process messages.
The 2 main concepts in this section are :
- Notifications: a communication sent to users to draw their attention to something in their Babelway environment.
- Agents: how you can configure when and whom Babelway should send notifications to, depending on the type of event that occurred.
You can access the Notification Center via its top-level-menu.
This will lead you to the following pages:
- Notifications will show you which notifications were recently triggered.
- Agents will allow you to configure which notifications should be sent, when, and to whom.
- Recipients List allows to configure recipient lists that can be referenced when setting up agents.
- External media allows to configure some external ways to send notifications (ex: via Slack), again, to be referenced when setting up your agents.
